Lawn Repair Mix FAQs
What is Lawn Repair Mix made from?
Our Lawn Repair Mix is made from high-quality, screened topsoil. It’s fine-textured and nutrient-rich, making it ideal for reseeding, patching, and levelling out lawn surfaces.
When is the best time to use Lawn Repair Mix?
The best times to repair your lawn are spring and autumn, when grass seed has the best chance to germinate. However, with regular watering, it can also be used in summer or early winter for light patching and surface levelling.
How do I apply Lawn Repair Mix?
Simply rake over the area you want to repair, remove any debris, and spread a thin layer of Lawn Repair Mix over the surface. For patching, apply seed over the mix and water in. For levelling dips, build up gradually in thin layers to avoid smothering existing grass.
Can I use this mix under new turf?
Yes. Lawn Repair Mix provides an excellent base for laying turf. Its fine texture and nutrient content help new turf root quickly and settle evenly.
How much area does one bulk bag cover?
One 0.75m³ bulk bag covers approximately 10–12m² at a depth of 50–75mm. For light topdressing or patching, you can cover a larger area with a thinner layer.
